Challenge
Modern professional kitchens are fast, complex environments where quality, consistency, and sustainability must coexist with high speed and volume. Traditional ovens, while precise, lacked connectivity and meaningful insight. The challenge was to create a system that could collect, interpret, and share data to improve operations and reduce waste — all without adding friction or complexity to the user experience.
Role
Edoardo led the UX/UI direction for the Data Driven Cooking platform, defining the user experience, information architecture, and interface logic that translate complex data into simple, actionable workflows. His work included conducting field research, user interviews, and surveys, as well as analyzing insights and creating flowcharts to validate and refine the experience. He designed the entire application—both web and mobile—covering dashboards, analytics views, and interaction patterns to ensure clarity, usability, and value for chefs and managers working under real-world kitchen pressure.
