Challenge
Professional kitchens increasingly demand both speed and quality, but traditional ovens often force a trade-off: to go fast is to sacrifice precision or variety. With rising volume, tight timing, and the need for consistent results, chefs and kitchens needed a solution that doesn’t compromise. The goal for SPEED-X™ was to combine maximum cooking flexibility, from delicate steam cooking to rapid speed mode, with ease of maintenance (self-cleaning) and reliability, without cluttering the kitchen or complicating workflows.
Role
Edoardo led the industrial design direction for SPEED-X™, shaping the product’s form, proportions, materials, and ergonomic details. He worked to integrate all internal technologies — cooking chamber, ventilation, steam & speed components, self-cleaning/water filtration systems — into a cohesive and elegant external shell. The result is a powerful, compact and visually balanced oven: built to perform under demanding kitchen conditions, yet expressing clarity, robustness and ease of use through its physical design.
